The Fabula Saltica Company is organizing the first edition of the LOGINDANZA Dance Festival.
LOGINDANZA is an autumn event held in various locations throughout the city of Rovigo, and through several performance-based appointments, it becomes part of the daily life of those who live and inhabit the city.

For this occasion, a call for contemporary dance and/or dance-theater projects is open, to be realized in a site-specific format.

In addition to production and promotion
activities, the Association has been committed to education. For 5 years, it curated and promoted Professional Courses for Dancers, thanks to funding from the Veneto Region. This was an important educational opportunity for learning and exchange.

Audience development, as well as relationships with local schools, is a key aspect of the company’s activities. The company is always seeking new ways to engage and attract a larger audience to the world of contemporary dance through targeted actions.

#FuturePerformances: a new online project about dance.

Fabula Saltica’s project aims to create new space for dance, its connection with related arts, and the discussions it can inspire among passionate spectators. At its core, we focus on the contemporaneity of this art and its ability to address the most pressing issues for today’s men and women. These are themes that have been explored in other eras, yet characterized by a universality that makes them timeless and always relevant. It’s a journey through time to explore the choreographic and thematic roots upon which dance is built; a path that will also highlight musical and literary contributions.

A special thanks to Lara Ballarin for the passion and enthusiasm she dedicated to this project, Lula Abicca and Pompea Santoro for their availability, and to the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo and Cen.Ser S.p.A Rovigo Fiere for allowing the use of their spaces for filming.

The Association promotes and supports the emerging creativity of young authors, offering a new and renewed space for rehearsals, a place for mentoring that enables new authors to fully realize their ideas by enhancing their creative potential. This is part of a long-term, sustained project rather than a one-off opportunity.

The anticipation, the curiosity of something that has already happened or is about to happen. The synergy of two bodies searching for each other to touch and merge, the intense and vibrant eroticism generated by the waiting.

IN COMPAGNIA DI SHAKESPEARE

A poetry reading featuring themes extracted from William Shakespeare’s Sonnets, with Fabula Saltica dancers accompanied by actress Elena Croce. A reading with dance suitable for unconventional spaces.

LA PAZZIA DEL BALLO – DANCE PROJECT IN MUSEUMS

A performance designed for the International Museum and Library of Music in Bologna, offering a reinterpretation of some fundamental codes in the history of dance through a contemporary lens. This approach aims to foster a dialogue of ideas, steps, and gestures. Suitable for museums and sites of particular architectural or naturalistic value.

For our Company, dance also represents a social commitment, an open space for meeting, reflection, and art as a form of participation. Many of our projects are created to raise awareness about often forgotten realities or those on the margins of society, but which are urgent, current, and close.

In addition to producing performances, the Association has organized and created numerous festivals and showcases in its region. From 1997 to 2005, it managed the artistic direction of the Vetrinadanza festival for nine editions on behalf of the Ente Rovigo Festival. From 2006 to 2010, it promoted the Incontri con la danza series on behalf of the Province of Rovigo. From 2006 to 2017, it curated and promoted the Ballet Season at the Teatro Sociale di Rovigo.
