Fabula Saltica Company organizes the first edition of the Dance Festival LOGINDANZA.

LOGINDANZA is an autumn event, which takes place in some places in the city of Rovigo and through some performative events participates in the everyday life of those who live and inhabit it.

For this occasion, a call is open for contemporary dance and/or dance-theater projects to be realized in site-specific form.

In addition to its production and promotion activities, the Association has been engaged in training activities; for 5 years it has curated and promoted, thanks to funding from the Veneto Region, Professional Courses for Dancers. An important didactic moment of learning and comparison.
The training of the public, as well as relations with schools in the area, is one of the pivotal aspects of the company’s activities, always seeking to find new channels to approach and intercept, through targeted actions, a larger audience to the world of contemporary dance.

#ReplicheFuture: a new online project on dance.

Fabula Saltica’s project aims to give new space to dance, its connection to related arts and the discussion it can provoke among passionate audiences. At the center we place the contemporaneity of this art, its ability to tell the most pressing issues for women and men today. Issues already addressed in other eras, but characterized by a universality that makes them immortal and always relevant. A journey through time to learn about the roots, choreographic and thematic, on which dance is grafted; a journey that will also highlight the musical and literary contribution.

Thanks to Lara Ballarin for her passion and enthusiasm for this project, Lula Abicca and Pompea Santoro for their willingness, the Rovigo Social Theater and Cen.Ser s.p.a Rovigo fairs for granting the use of space for filming.

The Association promotes and supports, the emerging creativity of young authors, offering a new and renewed space for rehearsals, a place for mentoring to put new authors in the best conditions to realize their ideas by enhancing their creative potential, within a project that is not occasional but lasting over time.

Poetry reading, with themes extrapolated from William Shakespeare’s Sonnets, staged by Fabula Saltica dancers accompanied by actress Elena Croce. Reading with dance suitable for unconventional venues.

THE MADNESS OF DANCE – DANCE PROJECT IN MUSEUMS

A performance conceived for the International Museum and Library of Music in Bologna, it proposes a reinterpretation of some of the fundamental codes of dance history, according to a contemporary vision, an approach that aims at the confrontation of ideas, steps and gestures.

Suitable for Museums and sites of special architectural or natural value.

Dance for our Company also represents a social commitment, an open space for encounter, reflection, and art as an expression of participation; many of our projects created to raise awareness of those realities that are often forgotten, or that remain on the margins of society, but are urgent, relevant and close, fit into this direction.

Alongside the activity of producing performances, the Association has organized and conceived numerous festivals and reviews in its territory, from 1997 to 2005 it curated for nine editions the artistic direction of the Vetrinadanza festival on behalf of the Rovigo Festival Authority, from 2006 to 2010 it promoted on behalf of the Province of Rovigo the Incontri con la danza in Villa Badoer from 2006 to 2017 it curated and promoted the Ballet Season of the Rovigo Social Theater.
